The grand tour: Richard Scarsbrook schedules 2013 readings throughout southern Ontario

A new year has brought new opportunities to meet, hear, and study with author Richard Scarsbrook! The author of the White Pine Award-winning The Monkeyface Chronicles (Thistledown Press, 2010) is scheduled to host a variety of workshops and readings right through the fall. Confirmed dates follow below the cut.

  • What: A March Break creative writing workshop with Richard Scarsbrook. 
  • When: Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
  • Where: The Milton Public Library, branch to be announced.
    How: Further information about this creative writing workshop for aspiring writers will be announced soon.
  • What: As part of the ongoing Lit Live series, Richard Scarsbrook reads in Hamilton. 
  • When: Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Homegrown Hamilton – Sky Dragon Centre, 27 King William St., Hamilton, ON.
  • How: Richard will highlight excerpts from The Monkeyface Chronicles as well as poems from his forthcoming poetry collection, Outtakes (Turnstone Press, 2013).
  • What: The Rowers Pub Reading Seriesfeatures Richard Scarsbrook, Stephanie Bolster, Sue Goyette, and Elizabeth Zetlin.
  • When: Monday, May 6, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Victory Café, 581 Markham St (South of Bloor, West of Bathurst), Toronto, ON.
  • How: Richard will highlight excerpts from The Monkeyface Chronicles as well as poems from his forthcoming poetry collection, Outtakes (Turnstone Press, 2013).
